Evening Meals Room Service

Oak Alley Plantation Restaurant & Inn will be offering table service beginning Friday, May 15, 2020.  We are taking reservations at 225-265-2151.  Walk-ins welcome. 

Table service will follow state guidelines to help mitigate the spread of  COVID-19. The adjacent historic grounds, gardens and exhibits will RE-OPEN on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

The Gift Shop will be open with adjustments to accommodate social distancing for both customers and staff.

While the Oak Alley Restaurant is open for breakfast (8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.) and lunch (11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), it is not open for evening meals. The staff will be happy to help you make reservations at an area restaurant, but be aware that most restaurants in the area are a 20 to 40 minute drive from Oak Alley, and on Sunday and Monday nights most are closed.

With that in mind, if you prefer to relax and stay in, you can arrange to have a pre-prepared dinner brought to your cottage, ready for you to heat and serve. You may order from the evening meal room service menu below and it must be pre-arranged by 2:00 p.m. the day before arrival). Chef will prepare your evening meal in advance, and have it stored in your cottage for later enjoyment.


Chicken, Smoked Sausage, and Andouille Gumbo - A bowl of traditional gumbo with white chicken meat, smoked sausage, and locally smoked andouille sausage served with steamed rice, hot rolls, and butter. A meal in itself!
Shrimp Gumbo - A bowl of rich Gumbo with Shrimp, thickened with a roux and smothered Okra & Tomatoes served with steamed rich, hot rolls, and butter.
Large House Salad - Fresh mixed greens tossed with a dressing of your choice, tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers, bell peppers, & mushrooms.

Seafood Au Gratin - Fresh Louisiana Crawfish and Gulf Shrimp, blended with herbs, spices, and seasonings, topped with Panko bread crumbs and Fontina cheese, broiled, and served with garden vegetables, and french bread.
Red Beans & Rice with Smoked Sausage - Creamy red beans seasoned with ham, sausage, and spices served with steamed rice and a link of smoke sausage.
Crawfish Étouffée - Crawfish tails sautéed in a spicy creamy mushroom butter sauce with onions, bell peppers, celery, garlic and Cajun seasonings, served with steamed white rice..

Four Cheese Pasta - Bowtie pasta tossed in a rich 4-cheese sauce. (for best dining, see special heating instructions)

To place an order, please submit the on-line order form or call us toll free at (800) 442-5539 or (225) 265-2151 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Orders must be received 48 hours prior to the day you wish to have room service delivered. Room service food orders can not be accepted via email. Food orders are non-refundable if cancellation is made within 48 hours of a food order delivery, due to the special ordering of the food. Thank you.
