Oak Alley
Plantation's Annual Christmas Bonfire Party!
Saturday, December 1st, 2012
7pm - Midnight
This year marks the 37th anniversary of
this joyous event at Oak Alley. Celebrate
the Christmas Season in one of the
southland's most beautiful settings. The
mansion will be dressed in fresh fruit,
greenery and seasonal floral arrangements,
reminiscent of Creole Christmases past.
Delicious Cajun/Creole buffet, open bar,
lively dance band, and plenty of good cheer
combine to heighten the holiday spirit
throughout the famous alley of oaks and the
lovely antebellum mansion.
As you arrive and walk the illuminated path
to the back of the mansion, you will be
greeted by tour guides in antebellum
dresses. On the terrace, a brass quintet
welcomes arriving guests.
As you enter the terrace of the Big House
our professionally dressed catering staff
will be serving hors d'oeuvres on silver
trays. Food stations and open premium bars
are set in and around the mansion. This
event is held in an open house format with a
main buffet set in the formal dining room
and chef style stations set around the
veranda. Tables and chairs are set on and
around the terrace located in front of the
mansion.
